Blue Ether

Summer 2021

SEASON is excited to announce part two of the pop-up exhibition in the Chophouse Row building complex, finishing with BLUE ETHER, opening on Second Thursday, August 12, at 5pm in Suite D.  Blue Ether will expand upon the connections between the work of Genevieve Gaudreau and Mike Simi.  Genevieve Gaudreau’s collages are blurred and difficult to decipher; they provide an entry for nostalgia and memory much in the same way Mike Simi’s drawings, small sculptures, and recent digital prints  encourage awareness of popular past events.  Mixed among the work will be a variety of other artworks that help to complete connections and/or divert conversations the surround works begin.

sEASON celebrated 10 years at the end of 2020 and is thankful the everyone at Chophouse Row/Dunn & Hobbs LLC for this opportunity to initiate post pandemic shows at this temporary location.  Regular shows at the Ravenna Boulevard address continue in August with the Seattle Deconstructed Art Fair featuring new paintings by Joshua Thompson.  Please contact robert@season.cz or call (206) 679-0706 for more information or to arrange a visit.
